Usage 1. Cholesterol can be used as an emulsifier, as well as a raw material for artificial bezoar, vitamin D, liquid crystals, synthetic hormones, and as an analytical reference material for biochemical research. 2. It can also be used for the cerebrophospholipid cholesterol flocculent test. Cholesterol is the main component of biofilms, with approximately 25% of total phospholipids being cholesterol.
